Understanding Your Insurance and Payment Options
At Flosswell Dental, we want to make the cost of your dental care easy to understand. We are not in network with any insurance companies, but we can help file claims with several major dental insurance providers.
We accept different payment methods and offer CareCredit for eligible patients. Our team can also explain how payments work and help you understand the insurance claim process.
Dental Insurance at Flosswell Dental
Flosswell Dental is not in network with any insurance company. However, we can file insurance claims as a courtesy. We currently work with:
- Delta Dental
- Guardian
- Humana
- MetLife
- Ameritas
- Cigna PPO
- Aetna
- Other Dental Plans
If you do not see your insurance company on the list, please contact our office to ask about your options.

How Insurance Claims Work
Payment is due at the time of your visit. As a courtesy, our team can submit your insurance claim and track it for you.
Your insurance company decides how much of your treatment is covered based on your plan. Any amount that your insurance does not cover is your responsibility.
Most insurance companies respond to claims within four to six weeks. After your claim is processed, you will need to pay any remaining balance.
Keep Your Insurance Information Updated
Please let our office know if your insurance plan changes. Keeping your information up to date helps us submit your claims correctly and avoid unnecessary delays.
If you have questions about your benefits, coverage, or plan limits, we recommend contacting your insurance company. They can provide the most accurate information about your specific plan.
Payment Options
We offer several convenient ways to pay for your dental care.
Cash and Check
We accept cash and checks. Payment is due at the time of service.
CareCredit
CareCredit is available to eligible patients who meet the required criteria. It can give you the option to make payments over time, based on the terms of your approved plan.
You can apply for CareCredit online or through our office. Approval and available payment terms are determined by CareCredit.
What You Are Responsible For
Even when our team helps file and track your insurance claim, you are responsible for the fees charged by Flosswell Dental. Your insurance company determines what your plan covers.
You are responsible for any part of your treatment that your insurance does not cover. This can include deductibles, co-payments, non-covered services, and remaining balances.
We recommend reviewing your insurance benefits before treatment when possible. Our team can help with the information available to us, but your insurance company can provide the most accurate details about your coverage.
